Forms are something we see a lot everywhere. In fact, I use it daily at work, specifically Microsoft Forms, where we record data from forms and save it to an Excel sheet. It's been extremely helpful, especially since we are able to set up Power Automate to automatically do some of the work with the forms, such as emailing the relevant people(based on roles) when new submissions come in.
Tables are super straightforward. I am more used to something like Excel and importing a table into Word and such, but tables in HTML make sense and work in a similar way. Super useful for organizing data and keeping everything nice and tidy. Tables are more easily seen and noticed in older sites; newer websites I see online are more like grids of interactive content, which is a bit beyond me at this time, but I think the organization idea is the same.
Grid layouts are something new to me. I see that it is extremely useful to have a page that can adjust to different screens. Not something I have really thought about before, but this makes perfect sense to me. Looking around, many pages do this, everything from Google to Facebook to news sites like CNN and BBC. Certainly will be needed in the project website.
noticed that many sites have the "load more" button, such as on mobile Google or Google image search, as you scroll down on a desktop. This is pretty interesting, especially in social media use cases where one might just continuously scroll down for more content. I notice that it's especially useful for mobile when our fingers/thumbs are the navigation device. Certainly something to think about when creating a website with long lists of content in comparison to a "next page" button.
